New Patch 1.03 Multiplayer Maps

EA recently deployed Patch 1.03 for Command & Conquer 4. This new patch addresses a number of minor bug fixes, but more importantly, it adds 3 new multiplayer maps to re-energize your 5v5 team action on. Check out these top down images to get a lay of the land, the tiberium control network node placements, and start planning your attack strategy.

C&C4:TT Worldbuilder + Patch

As already told, C&C4: Tiberian Twilight Patch + Worldbuilder is Released!
Now we just need to pray we get a MOD SDK to :D

Upgrade to Patch 1.02 for Command & Conquer 4 right now. This patch addresses various network/disconnect issues, adds auto-save to Campaign/Skirmish if a network disconnect occurs, support for Worldbuilder, and most importantly, skirmish/custom match tunable options such as lethality, time, victory points, and more. A wealth of gameplay tuning fixes have also been addressed. To patch, simply launch Command & Conquer 4, and the update should take place automatically over a short time in your launcher window. Patch 1.02 Change-List

Campaign/Skirmish progress is automatically saved if a network disconnect occurs
 - Various bug fixes in relation to crash/disconnect issues
 - Skirmish / Custom Match Tunable Options:

 - – Goal Point Multiplier
 - – Unit Kill Multiplier
 - – On/Off Map Reveal

Early version of TWA Released

After about a year of silence, Stygs has released an early version of the new Tiberium Wars Advanced version 1.6. As always, it comes with numerous new effects, several new units and a couple of fixes and tweaks.

As there will most likely be a lot of bug-fixes and changes to be made in the near future,
the current version is available only in German so far.

Well I think this FPS game would be awsome when it was in production. But maybe its still in production??

EA Admits that DRM is DUMB

Jeff Green said that Command and Conquer is unplayable

EA.com’s editor-in-chief and blogger Jeff Green has written in his blog that he has been burnt by
Command & Conquer 4′s DRM.

EA created a storm when it required users to be online at all times to play.
Green wrote on his Twitter account that he has had to boot twice and lost his progress because his DSL connection dropped.

He said that the DRM was a fail and EA needed new solutions. Green wrote that he tried to be open-minded.
But his net connection is finicky and the constant disruption of my C&C4 SP game makes this unplayable.

He said that the story is fun, the gameplay is interesting and different but if you suffer from
shaky/unreliable DSL you have been warned. Green said that periodic online checks or checks on loading and quitting would be an improvement,
or going farther, caching progress for upload at a later time.

Forums Down

As you already seen the forums are broken and not working, We dont have a clue what happend.
The forum gave some database errors before and now its totally gone.

As you guys already seen on the countdown timer C&C4 is almost near!
And for the Dutch folks like me, Kane comes 17 March @ 19:00 to Utrecht for a meet and greet in Real Life!

Sam Bass told that he try’s to get the team working on the Worldbuilder & MOD SDK!
